All my life, I have been completely engrossed by music, technology, philosophy, theology, and so much more.

I grew up in a tight-knit, rural community in Kansas. Six hundred and one miles from Nashville, but a world apart. From a young age, I was deeply immersed in music. Before I could walk, my parents began to influence my life in two overarching ways: music and ministry. Almost every day, they would introduce me to a new song, band, or musical genre. Our house emanated a spirit of dancing and singing to everything from Broadway to Flamenco, HipHop, Classical, Reggae, and more. Sometimes, all on one night.

In high school I turned my bedroom into a studio, created a YouTube channel, posted music to streaming services, played in local churches (and bars) and immersed myself in everything related to music: history, theory, legal, technology, audio engineering, etc.

However, my journey has not been directly music-oriented. In 2026, I had the opportunity to study Philosophy and Theology at Oxford, United Kingdom, during the Hilary Term, developing essays around thinkers such as Aristotle, Sartre, Camus, Heidegger, Lewis, Nietzsche, Arendt, Foucault, Horkheimer, and many, many more.

Now as a Music Business student at Belmont University, I have been able to live the dream that boy from Kansas imagined every day. I continue to soak up everything I can and grow on my journey, and hopefully keep making the 17 year-old version of me proud.
